2013 Fantasy Sleepers

Posted by Mike Harman on Saturday, August 17, 2013
Here is the list that you have been waiting on, the 2013 Sleepers. You find Giovanni Bernard or Daryl Richardson on this list. I will give you some guys that you've heard of, and some that you haven't, while also throwing out some names that are worth stealing.

The Guy's You May Know

1) Shane Vereen, RB, Patriots

Ok, so this may be a no-brainer to some, but Vereen is currently being drafted as the 30th running back in the 6th round of 12-team leagues. So there obviously aren't enough people that...

Fantasy Draftology Lesson 2: Mythbusting

Posted by Mike Harman on Saturday, August 17, 2013
I have done fantasy long enough to hear just about every strategy out there. Some make sense, and some don't, and we plan to debunk some of the myths of fantasy drafting.

MYTH 1: Drafting Around Bye Weeks

I have to admit that I used to REALLY draft around the bye weeks to make sure that in any given week that I wouldn't have to drop a lot of guys to fill roster spots. But that strategy is more flawed than anything, especially because Fantasy isn't about getting every win you can. Sure it's grea...

Fantasy Draftology Lesson 1: The Basics To Drafting

Posted by Mike Harman on Wednesday, July 17, 2013
There are still about 45-days until the first kickoff of the season, and we are just now starting to get into the meat and potatoes of fantasy drafting. Throughout those next 45-days I will give you tools, lessons, and guides to help get you the gold.

I won't promise you the blueprint to guarantee a championship, because fantasy championships are about as random as Super Bowl championships.  I will, however, give you the tools to get you a team that will compete every week, have a blend of saf...

2013 Fantasy TE Rankings

Posted by Mike Harman on Wednesday, July 17, 2013
Oh the Tight End position. A year ago we saw guys like Gronk and Graham become 2nd and 3rd round picks because of their potential, while a ton of other guys showed their potential too. This year there is one guy worth loving, and I seem to love him a lot more than anyone else.

1) Jimmy Graham

I don't get why everyone else is undervaluing Graham. He is the first and second tier of tight ends, and he could be your team's steal for the very same reasons that I love Drew Brees. I have a theory that...

2013 Fantasy WR Rankings

Posted by Mike Harman on Wednesday, July 17, 2013
Remember a few years ago when the idea of taking a receiver in the first round was laughable? Those are the good old days when you might think about getting a QB in the middle of the 2nd round, and a receiver was a reach at the bottom of the 2nd. Nowadays you might see three of them in the first round, and there are some fantasy owners that ponder the idea of taking three straight receivers in a draft.

And it makes some sense. With the evolution of the 5,000-yard quarterback comes a much more...

2013 Fantasy RB Rankings

Posted by Mike Harman on Monday, July 15, 2013
For the first time in a long time I am lost with the running back rankings. Expecting Adrian Peterson to come close to what he did last year is unfair. Arian Foster isn't 100-percent healthy, and one of these days Ben Tate is going to get a few extra carries. Marshawn Lynch is great when he tries, but it doesn't take much to kill motivation. Jamal Charles bounced back perfectly last year, but is he overvalued too much because of Andy Reid? Do you trust a Hamster that got half his year's point...

2013 Fantasy QB Rankings

Posted by Mike Harman on Monday, July 15, 2013
The 2013 NFL Fantasy class is a unique one. For the first time in a long time I am not in love with any one running back that I would love to take in the draft. At the same time there is three times more rushing talent that I would love to have in the 5th round.

Today we will start with fantasy passers. I usually am the first person to say that the quarterback is a dumb pick to take early on, but there is one guy that I love this year. If you don't get that guy at a great value then wait your ...

Justin Roper Interview

Posted by Mike Harman on Tuesday, February 22, 2011

Justin Roper might not be as well known as Tim Tebow and Colt McCoy but he is a proven winner like them...

When NFL scouts look at prospects they take a few major things into consideration. They desire a player with good technique, stats, experience, intangibles and winners. Not every player can say that they had great stats in every game, or that they were a 4-year starter. Nobody has a perfect technique but it is often the prospects that understand that they can improve that succeed. It al...
