Here are the NFL DRAFT GRADES FOR THE 2011 NFL DRAFT. I try to make my grades a different way than most draft sites do. I first try to look at a pick for its quality, value, cost (trade to get it,etc.), potential, and need. I then take each and every pick and I create a team grade. The team grade is not an average of the individual grades, but rather a separate grade based on different things.
If your team took the BPA and scored on every pick, but your team didn't address your two biggest needs, I cannot give your team a great grade. If you were a quarterback away from the playoffs and you skipped a quarterback for a running back, then your team grade will hurt because the team as a whole didn't fix the biggest issues.
At the same time, if your team reaches on every pick, but addresses their needs, then I don't think they deserve a bad grade because the team likely will be walking away with newer, better ways to win. I understand that the Lions, Giants, or a number of other groups of fans might not agree, but upgrading things that actually upgrade the team significantly shouldn't give a team a great grade.
