I have created a live blog for your viewing pleasure! I will grade each pick as it goes along based on team need, player value, and overall strategy. If a team trades their 2011 2nd round pick to draft Armanti Edwards, a QB with minor WR possiblities in the 3rd, especially when they already drafted a receiver in the same round, I likely won't give a happy grade.

At the bottom of the page you will also notice that I will update each and every team's grade after each pick. So you get an individual pick grade, and an overall team grade for each pick!

Finally, I will update the draft order (traded picks bolded, and I will give explanations and even trade grades as I am able to (sometimes not fully disclosed).

**OH, AND DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT MY MOCK DRAFTS!**

PICK BY PICK GRADE

Round 1

1) Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton, QB, Auburn

Newton isn't an elite QB, but his potential at the most important position is outstanding. I have been high on him in the draft since November and he has been the 1st overall picks since.

B+

2) Denver Broncos: Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M

A 3-4 LB in the 4-3. Bizzarro Robert Ayers pick, and one that is bound to fail. As a 4-3 LB Miller wasn't even a top-15 pick.

D

3) Buffalo Bills: Marcell Dareus, DE/DT/NT, Alabama

The Bill stole Dareus who will instantly shine on a team here. The team still needs a QB more than a defense, but the pick as a whole is great!

B

4) Cincinnati Bengals: AJ Green, WR, Georgia

Got a receiver that fits pretty well. The team needed a receiver badly, and I have hinted this year that the team will possibly try to find tools to bring Carson back.

A-

5) Arizona Cardinals: Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU

The team had a CB as their 8th best need, so I don't care what value you have. The team need a QB, they need pass rushers, and linemen. The best player in the draft doesn't help this team win.

B-

6) ATLANTA FALCONS: Julio Jones, WR, Alabama

Best receiver in the draft if you factor in blocking. I like the move because he adds a tool to a team that desperately needed one, but the Browns screwed the Falcons in terms of trade power.

C+

7) San Francisco 49ers: Aldon Smith, DE/LB, Missouri

A guy with two years of experience that fell off in 2010. I just don't like the pick. A QB, CB, or a number of other picks would be better.

C

8) Tennessee Titans: Jake Locker, QB, Washington

A reach on an athletic, no accurate QB. Just not a fan of it because it doesn't upgrade over Vince Young.

C

9) Dallas Cowboys: Tyron Smith, OT, USC

If he plays LT and Free goes to RT, then great pick. If he is a RT that is too light for the team's desires then an awful pick.

B

10) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS( FROM WASH): Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri

The Jags get a QB for the future, and they didn't trade too much for him. If they make him sit under Garrard then it will be a great pick

B

11) Houston Texans: JJ Watt, DE/DT, Wisconsin

I have been saying for awhile that Amobi Okoye would be a perfect NT for the team if they give him a chance, and everyone else seemed to think the team would ignore the DE/DT spot. I win this time. He fits a need, and the team was never going to go CB back to back years.

B

12) Minnesota Vikings: Christian Ponder, QB, Florida State

The Vikings got too scared and drafted the 4th QB on their board. Ponder is a 6th rounder in some drafts, so here is stupid.

F

13) Detroit Lions: Nick Fairley, DT, Auburn

I don't want to over react because I don't know who will play NT for the team, but in a division with crappy offensive linemen, I like the move. If the team can fix the back-7 later on, and add a bunch of OL support then they could have the best draft.

B+

14) St. Louis Rams: Robert Quinn, DE, UNC

The Rams get an extra pass rusher which should help. He sucks against the run, had one year of production, has major character concerns, and didn't do much during his off year. Other than that he is a steal.

B

15) Miami Dolphins: Mike Pouncey, OG/C, Florida

Pouncey doesn't have the technique to play center. He doesn't have the arm strength or length to play OT or OG. So I don't get the hype outside of his brother. With that said, a top-15 interior linemen is always a bad pick for a team that needs help.

C-

16) WASHINGTON REDSKINS (From JAX):  Ryan Kerrigan, DE/LB, Purdue

I don't love the pick because I think pass rusher was one of the lessor needs, but getting Kerrigan and an extra 2nd round grade is outstanding.

B

17) New England Patriots (From Oak): Nate Solder, OT, Colorado

Nate Solder has the technique of a 6th rounder. A team needing OL now reached on a future guy

C+

18) San Diego Chargers: Corey Liuget, DE/DT, Illinois

Bad pick. Liuget is all potential and isn't that impressive. More importantly, the team could have gotten Cam Jordan who has 3-4 experience there.

C

19) New York Giants: Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska

The Giants took the BPA. Shocker (sarcasm). I don't personally like Amukamara (give up about every other pass, not a playmaker) but he could be a great nickel/safety for them.

B

20) Tampa Bay Buccaneers:  Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa

Clayborn is a slouch that has character, physical, and conditioning concerns. He does fill a good need though and is an ok value.

C+

21) CLEVELAND BROWNS (FROM KC): PHIL TAYLOR, NT, BAYLOR

I like the pick because it gives them the big inside stuffer that the team loves, but other needs could have been addressed.

B

22) Indianapolis Colts: Anthony Castonzo, OT, Boston College

Best pick of the draft so far. Best relevant pick, fits the team's biggest need, and they defy their own draft history.

A+

23) Philadelphia Eagles: Danny Watkins, OG, Baylor

He is 26 years old. He is a terrible position player (guard). He is the 2nd best OG in an insanely deep OG class. The team should have taken Carimi or Jimmy Smith.

D

24) New Orleans Saints: Cameron Jordan, DE, California

Jordan was a top-10 player in the draft, and to get him here is top notch value.

A

25) Seattle Seahawks: James Carpenter, OT, Alabama

A top-75 player that goes 25th. Carpenter was a mid-2nd round at best, and the team could have taken a number of other guys. A reach by a team that shouldn't be reaching.

C-

26) KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (FROM CLE via ATL): Jonathon Baldwin, WR, Pittsburgh

Love it. Baldwin is a stud and the Chiefs got an extra 3rd to wait for him.

A

27) Baltimore Ravens: Jimmy Smith, CB, Colorado

Smith is the best pure CB in the draft and has top-3 CB in the NFL potential. Him in Baltimore's defense could be something special.

A+

28) New Orleans Saints (From NE): Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama

I love the pick. The Saints finally get a runner that can be a full time stud, but lets hope the franchise knows this.

A

29) Chicago Bears: Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin

Carimi was a top-10 player on my big board for a reason. He has LT potential, fills the team's biggest need, and maybe Cutler can stay alive this year. The team also likely was trying to trade for him with the Ravens.

A

30) New York Jets: Muhhamad Wilkerson, DE/DT, Temple

I never thought Wilkerson was ever a top-15 pick, but getting him 30th is good value. I sort of wished for a pass rusher.

B

31) Pittsburgh Steelers: Cameron Heyward, DE/DT, Ohio State

A safe pick, but an ok pick.

B

32) Green Bay Packers: Derek Sherrod, OT, Mississippi State

I absolutely love this pick. The team gets offensive line depth which is always valuable, but they also screw the Lions, Bears and Vikings out of the best top-tier OT.

SAN DIEGO

1.18) San Diego Chargers: Corey Liuget, DE/DT, Illinois

Cam Jordan would have been better here, but he does fill a need.

SAN FRANCISCO

1.7) San Francisco 49ers:Aldon Smith, DE/LB, Missouri

Smith isn't a great, proven player, and he went 10 picks too early. Does fill a need though.

SAINT LOUIS

1.14) St. Louis Rams: Robert Quinn, DE, UNC

I don't love it because I don't love Quinn, but the team taking a guy with amazing upside is very good. There also weren't a lot of options for them.

The Bucs could have gotten similar talent in the 2nd round, and Clayborn has issues in every part of his life and game. Huge need filled though.

TRADE DETAILS

Browns trade:

2011 6th overall pick

Falcons trade:

2011 27th pick
2011 2nd round (58)
2011 4th round pick (124)
2012 1st round pick
2012 4th round pick

**This is a classic trade rape. Falcons give everything for a very good player, but they had better win now. Browns win BIG

Washington Trades:

1st round (10th) pick

Jacksonville trades:

1st round (17)
2nd round (49)

**I think both sides win here. The Jags get a QB for the future which is good, and the Skins trade back just a little bit for a lot of value. If they can get Cameron Jordan there then it will be an absolute steal.

Browns Trade:

1st round (27)
3rd round (70)

Chiefs Trade:

1st round (21)

** I like the move. They give up a little to get a guy they love, and they got a ton of value to trade earlier.

Patriots Trade:

1st round (28)

Saints Trade:

2012 1st round pick
2011  2nd round (56)

** Patriots keep their power run up. They get a 1st round pick for a much better 2012 class, and a 2nd rounder. Saints also win too because they get a top notch RB
